Brian Gold is an accomplished businessman and an instructor at the University of Alberta with a strong record of leadership in our community.
As a longtime resident of Spruce Grove with his wife and children, Brian has deep roots in this community. He understands what it takes to create good new jobs for families Sturgeon River–Parkland, and he is committed to working with Justin Trudeau to grow Alberta’s middle class and support every family working hard to join it.
Brian has decades of experience in business strategy and economic development as both a consultant and a university instructor at the University of Alberta and the School of Business at MacEwan University. He has degrees from Harvard University and the University of British Columbia, and recently completed his PhD in History at the University of Alberta.
Brian is a Board member for the Pearson Centre for Progressive Policy and the Edmonton Korean Canadian Association. He also volunteers with Reconciliation in Solidarity Edmonton, promoting understanding between Indigenous peoples and non-Indigenous Canadians.
